As luxury brands map their strategies for their South-East Asia expansion, Vietnam’s potential is increasingly being recognised by international players and British brands alike. While significantly smaller than the other dominate markets in the region, Vietnam has great potential to become highly profitable in the near future with a rapidly growing middle class. The number of people with a net worth of up to US $30mn is expected to soar by 32% to nearly 26,000 by 2025 and customers increasingly searching out quality, craftsmanship and distinctiveness. If you're interested in developing your business in Vietnam and South-East Asia, the UK Government is hosting two public events in the region that you can be a part of.
This year, the UK and Vietnam are delighted to be marking 50 years of diplomatic relations. This significant milestone offers the opportunity to reflect on the growing strength of the UK-Vietnam partnership and deepening trade ties, as well as to look ahead to increasing bilateral cooperation in the coming decades.
To mark this historic moment, the UK Government is proud to be delivering two UK Festivals with the theme ‘The UK and Vietnam: Building for the Future’. These major events will celebrate the breadth and depth of the UK-Vietnam partnership, and showcase the very best of UK brands, services, culture, food and drink. There will be a main stage for cultural performances, speeches, and exhibitions. Both events will be held at central visible locations in the city, ensuring high public footfall and engagement.
There are already five tier 1 sponsors onboard, each representing the very best in UK expertise across healthcare, education, financial services, and property. The event will welcome VIPs from the Vietnamese Government and local authorities, as well as the senior UK business and diplomatic communities.
The two events will be held in:
