On Sunday, in the midst of an Italian heatwave, Walpole member dunhill chose the shaded, lush environs of the Giardini Poldi Pezzoli to show its new Spring Summer 2026 collection at Milan Fashion Week. Masterminded by the tailoring house's Creative Director, Simon Holloway, the collection spliced the rarified dress codes of English aristocracy and the rebelliousness of British rock icons: think Bryan Ferry raiding the wardrobe of King Edward VIII.
Rakish and refined, this meant linen and suede car coats – a nod to dunhill's motoring heritage – worn with leather trainers or over suits, playfully patterned tailoring, relaxed trouser cuts and belted smoking jackets. And while stone, grey and navy were seen on pieces throughout, there was plenty of fun to be had from bold splashes of yellow and red, as well as madras checks and florals – often worn together with an artful recklessness.
