Glenfiddich has a history of being ahead of the curve. Founded by Founded in Dufftown, Scotland in 1887 by innovator William Grant (today, the namesake of the whisky brand's parent company – and Walpole member – William Grant & Sons), his maverick attitude saw the distillery adopt a series of revolutionary methods and practises, most notably pioneering single malt Scotch whisky at a time when blends were de rigeur. Now, 138 years later, Glenfiddich is trailblazing once again by introducing a new initiative that pairs their whiskies with an exclusive curation of rental artwork.
The Art of Glenfiddich sees the brand collaborating with leading art platform Rise Art to launch a category-first experience that unites whisky and contemporary art through a luxury art rental experience. Curated by Rise Art's Co-Founder Scott Phillips, the collaboration pairs whiskies from Glenfiddich’s Time Re:Imagined and Grand Series collections with works some of the moment's most esciting artists, from established names such as Damien Hirst, Mr A and Pure Evil to rising stars including Lucy Cade and Fuschia. The idea? To sip your dram while admiring the work of art and letting your mind expand.
