Poodle & Blonde's nostalgic, retro prints went viral following a collaboration with Hayden. After launch, the kettle and toaster covered in Poodle & Blonde's Tottenham Dalmatian print both sold out repeatedly, with customers comparing their popularity to Glastonbury tickets. "We have a great community of retro-lovers that really uplifts our brand," explains Kierra Campbell, Co-Founder & Managing Director.
This community grew organically, though Kierra and Co-Founder & Creative Director, Whinnie Williams, wondered if their networking should be more intentional and targeted. Through Walpole's Brands of Tomorrow programme, Poodle & Blonde has access to a mentor with whom they shared these concerns. "It was really reassuring to hear that we have created something great, and we should keep doing what we're doing."
