Michael has fast become one of the most highly regarded leaders in the luxury hospitality industry. Currently MD of Rosewood London, under Michael’s management the iconic hotel has garnered impressive awards including Conde Nast Traveller’s Best Hotel in London, GQ’s Best Hotel and Hotel of the Year by The Caterer to name but a few.
Hospitality is in Michael’s blood. From an early age Michael worked alongside his parents at their hotels in Scotland before venturing to the US to work with Four Seasons & Resorts for 10 years in Boston, Toronto and New York.
On returning to London, Michael began his British career at Claridge’s as the Food & Beverage Manager then becoming the Hotel Manager of this iconic hotel. After four years at Claridge’s, Michael opened Rosewood London, a highly anticipated opening of this ultra-luxury hotel brand. Rosewood London has achieved numerous impressive awards since its opening including Forbes Five Star and Conde Nast Traveller no.1 hotel in London numerous times.
