Built by the Dunbar-Dunbar family in 1893 and designed by the famous whisky architect Charles Chree Doig, Rothes Glen is a luxurious baronial-style castle that sleeps up to 28 guests.

Rothes Glen has 14 bedrooms, each with king-size beds and huge en-suite bathrooms, a stunning drawing room and dining room, breakfast room, library, snooker room, tasting room, whisky vault and tower room. Grounds, gardens, outdoor terraces and an idyllic lochan, surround the castle and there are heated kennels and sporting rooms in the courtyard to ensure guests can enjoy the full range of Speyside experiences. Guests are captivated by the awe-inspiring views that surround the castle, as it proudly sits within 11 acres of pristine beauty, complete with a serene lochan, a convenient helipad in the meadow, a charming courtyard, and even dedicated whisky tasting rooms. Guests are pampered and indulged by the exceptional in-house team, ensuring an unforgettable experience, while the castle’s award-winning chef tantalises taste buds with culinary masterpieces, using local, seasonal ingredients.
