All I want for Christmas is…

A new bike... Earlier this year I took part in a charity cycle from London to Corfu (over the Alps). It was an incredible experience and it raised over £270,000 for Alzheimer's Research. My trusty road bike got me there in one piece, but I was surrounded by a team with much better kit so I'm asking my other half and family for a bit of an upgrade to help me up the hills next year!

How will you be celebrating Christmas this year?

I'll be skiing this year over Christmas with my family in Zermatt, Switzerland.

Your favourite Christmas tradition?

My favourite Christmas tradition is sitting with my sister drinking champagne and buttering the bread, prepping for copious amounts of smoked salmon nibbles with the family.

Favourite festive film or song?

Love Actually.

Best place to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere?

In my opinion, nowhere tops London. Nothing feels more Christmassy than walking around Central London looking at all the festive lights and admiring the incredible effort the stores and restaurants go to. My favourites this year are Liberty and Annabel's.

Top tip for surviving the festive season in style?

It's so easy to fill your diary with night after night of Christmas indulgence, if you're not careful it can end up more tiring than fun... So my top tip is to book out at least two evenings in your week where you can just relax at home in front of your Christmas tree!
