Brands of Tomorrow Flashback | Sabina Savage
In the first of a short series looking back at the Brands of Tomorrow Class of 2019, we meet luxury scarf designer Sabina Savage, who discusses the impact the programme has had on her business and what’s next for her and her eponymous brand.
Why did you apply to become a Walpole Brand of Tomorrow?
I have always admired the work of Walpole and the group of brands it brings together. It has been so inspiring to watch the previous Brands of Tomorrow grow and develop under Walpole’s mentorship so I jumped at the opportunity to apply. It’s an incredible chance to learn from and spend time with incredible business minds from the luxury sector.
What has been your key takeaway from the programme?
I have found the whole year so inspiring, but getting to work and grow alongside the other brands has been a real pleasure for me; We have all learned from and helped each other along the way. The workshops and seminars run by the programme were invaluable, and have touched on so many different areas we may have had difficulty with otherwise.
What’s next for you and your brand?
We are growing the team and the product range, and we have a few exciting launches and collaborations for the year ahead. The Savage Kingdom is growing!
