Why is the US/New York such an important market for your brand?
The USA is currently the largest consumer market in the world with the highest spend per capita on fashion. Here at Mou, we have a seen a growing interest from US-based retail buyers and US-based shoppers on our e-commerce store. New York is seen as highly influential in the fashion world, so having a presence here is crucial.
What are you hoping to achieve by participating in the Walpole Trade Delegation?
I’m looking forward to gaining more knowledge and insight into the US luxury market and its retail and media landscapes. Participating in the brand showcase will help to raise the profile of the Mou brand within the US, and New York in particular, which is something I’m very excited about.
What is the one thing you’d like the US customer to know about your brand?
That mou was founded in 2002 to be eco-friendly, ethical, sustainable and long-lasting – obviously big buzzwords in the fashion industry today.
