Member News dunhill hits the city for Spring Summer 2025

Initially presented at a lavish outdoor show at Milan Fashion Week in June last year, dunhill's menswear collection for Spring Summer 2025 has now arrived in the shops (both physical and virtual) – alongside a sleek new advertising campaign, revealed earlier this week. Lensed by photographer Louis Alberto Rodriguez and styled by legendary look-maker Tom Guinness, the campaign sees a series of elegant gentlemen (models Shaun Dewet, Jino Chun, Quentin Demeester and Stan Taylor) hitting the streets of London in classically British style.

The second collection from dunhill's recently-installed Creative Director, Simon Holloway, the clothes in these six images reveal his manifesto for the storied tailoring house: timeless, sophisticated and confident. While he might play on classic silhouettes that the house is known for (e.g. the refined Bourdon suit block, named after the brand's flagship store, Bourdon House, a cufflink's throw from Berkeley Square), fabrics are sleek and lightweight to adjust for incoming warmer weather.

Of particular note is the grey tripical wool you'll see in these images, crafted by the heritage mills of Somerset and Yorkshire, demonstrating the house's support for artisanal workmanship – a sentiment we here at Walpole share (see our recent Luxury in the Making study).

However, this is Britian – so while there is an acknowledgement of warmer climes in the collection, there's also a solid offering of outerwear should the heavens open or mercury plummet unexpectedly. A louche beige merino wool double breasted trench coat and a luxuriously soft, toffee-coloured suede trail jacket are particular highlights.

Besides the clothes on show, you can't help but notice the accessories, of course. Leather has been staple of the house since its earliest days as a saddlery and so, to pay tribute to this heritage, dunhill has introduced the Century collection. Envisaged as the house’s most refined leather goods offering, each style is produced in smooth calf leather with metal hardware inspired by the brand's Rollagas lighter. In this initial drop, a minimal briefcase and tote are available in three sizes, as well as a capaciously sized holdall for all your travel needs.
