To celebrate the speakers, mentors and students who have participated in the Walpole & London Business School Programme in Luxury Management, programme Chair Mark Henderson, Chairman of of Gieves & Hawkes, hosted guests at a cocktail party at the iconic No. 1 Savile Row store.
Many senior executives from within the Walpole membership have generously given up their time to mentor and speak with participants on the Walpole and LBS Programme in Luxury Management, an initiative designed to nurture the next generation of British luxury leaders. This event was a celebration of all those who have been involved with the programme over the past four years, and we were delighted to be hosted in the elegant 18th-century William Kent townhouse, home to Gieves & Hawkes since 1912
Guests were also given the opportunity to see the brand’s Archive Room – the elegant and storied home of the Gieves & Hawkes-designed military and Royal appointment uniforms – and treated to a tasting of Exmoor Caviar, Britain’s first caviar farm, and a current Brand of Tomorrow.
The Walpole Luxury Leaders of Tomorrow Programme, in association with London Business School, was established in 2013 to identify and nurture carefully selected MBA students who aspire to become the next generation of luxury leaders.
