Whilst the liqueur has not been used in the cake, The Lakes Distillery has created its own ode to the royal wedding - The Elderflower Royale Spritz.
This refreshing and light cocktail is perfect for summer celebrations and garden parties.
Ingredients:
50ml The Lakes Elderflower Gin Liqueur
Prosecco or English Sparkling Wine
25ml Soda Water
Slices of Lemon
Slices of Lime
Sprig of Mint
Method:
Take a balloon glass and fill with ice. Pour a double measure of The Lakes Elderflower Gin Liqueur and a measure of soda water and stir. Top with Prosecco or English sparkling wine and enjoy!
The Lake Distillery will also be in ‘Glorious Britain’ on Windsor High Street in the lead-up and the day of the wedding, serving this cocktail to all visitors.
