Where will you be holidaying this year/where have you already been on holiday to – and why?
My husband, six-year-old son and I are leaving first thing on Saturday morning (10th August) for a 10-day visit to Corsica. We’re staying in a tiny little place where you’re picked up by boat – it’s fabulous.
What's your ‘must-have’ item to pack in your suitcase?
It’s scary to admit, but probably my laptop; I might be away from the office but I’m never disconnected. If I’m honest, I’m attached to my iPhone 24/7.
Where is your favourite al fresco drinking/dining spot?
At my house in the Cotswolds, sitting in the garden – it’s my ultimate get away from it all place.
What's this year's holiday read?
Howards End. I love the classics, and I’ve watched the movie several times so thought it was about time I read the book.
Have you ever had a ‘lightbulb’ moment related to your business or career while taking some downtime?
Absolutely - it's when my mind is a bit more free. I really do believe in the importance of downtime and family time, but I love my job and the brand so much that I'm always in the moment and will spend my free time shooting off emails back to the office. I'm not so sure it's always appreciated!
