What does it mean to you to be named a Walpole 2020 Power List winner?

I am very honoured to be able to wave the flag on behalf of many young, diverse women in the whisky industry. To be part of this list is a huge encouragement and it proves that the luxury sector is opening its doors more and more, particularly in the UK, to myself but also to many other women. Now is the time to showcase our hard work, creative, forward thinking and positive attitude to make a long-term impact and I couldn’t be happier to be part of it.

Why do you think you were named on the List this year?

I prefer to say that it’s not just me who has my name in the Power List but instead a group of incredible, creative and hard-working women in the whisky industry, whom I have been given the privilege to represent this year. We are now, more than ever, gaining our space and are able to shout to the world that our voice, our work and our experience is making a valued contribution to progress the industry.
