How will you be celebrating Christmas this year?
At home in Wimbledon with my husband and new son Felix, who was born in August. My sister will also be flying in from Boston where she lives with her husband and two year old son Toby. I can't wait to see the two little cousins together in their Christmas PJs!
What gift are you hoping to receive in your stocking?
Delicious things to nibble on (as if one doesn't eat enough at Christmas already!) I'm a total sucker for Pfeffernusse and candied almonds - preferably alongside a dram of our house pour, 'Tom's Blend'!
What is your favourite/family Christmas tradition?
Prepping and putting out the stockings; everyone in our family gets one from the youngest (Felix, who will be 4.5 months old) to my remarkably sprightly 95 year old Grandmother!
Favourite festive film and song?
Anything by John Rutter - my mother always has his carols on in the kitchen and they just conjure-up Christmas in an instant. Christmas films rather divide opinion in our family, but National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation always raises a few laughs from everyone.
Best place to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere?
The lights in Sloane Square never fail to make me smile, but this year is extra special at home as all the houses on my road in Putney have clubbed together to decorate the trees in the street - it looks utterly lovely and we feel very lucky to live on a street with such a sense of community. We are also going to Switzerland for New Year and the child in me can't wait for snow!!
Top tip for surviving the festive season in style?
Champagne!?
