21 Days of Christmas Celebrate with... Alan Scott, Creative Director at Johnstons of Elgin

How will you be celebrating Christmas this year?

I’m looking forward to spending Christmas with my family and relaxing on the farm surrounded by my favourite animals - my dogs and horses.

What gift are you hoping to receive in your stocking?

A bottle of Connoisseurs Choice, Single Malt Whisky from Gordon & MacPhail.

Best place to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere?

I live in the Borders of Scotland, therefore it has to be Alnwick Castle in Northumberland.

What is your favourite Christmas tradition?

A walk with family on Christmas morning whilst the Turkey is cooking. I’m looking forward to walking in the hills which surround the farm.

Favourite festive film and song?

Film has to be The Red Shoes; and favourite song is Driving Home for Christmas by Chris Rea.

Top tip for surviving the festive season in style?

Always snuggle up in Johnstons of Elgin cashmere!
