This year we will be hosting family at our home in London. My wife is Italian and from a family of exceptionally good cooks. Italian food and English Sparkling Wine pair exceptionally well; I am already teeing up my contribution!
What gift are you hoping to receive in your stocking?
An Apple Watch (… I’m hoping the right people are reading this).
What is your favourite family Christmas tradition?
We head to the theatre with the children each Christmas and we’ve seen some incredible shows. Last year was Matilda so the bar has been set high… no pressure.
Favourite festive film and song?
Ooh, tough one… but I think it has to be Home Alone which I used to love along with my siblings and now my children love too. And Fairytale Of New York.
Best place to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere?
I think London is the best place on the planet to celebrate Christmas and a light dusting of snow – fingers crossed – always helps.
Top tip for surviving the festive season in style?
A well-stocked fridge… principally but not exclusively with Chapel Down wines and Curious Brew, of course.
