Today's Season of Luxury profile features Päivi Svens, Wedgwood's Vice President of Business, who may be spending her first Christmas in the UK this year but is determined to include as many festive traditions from her native Finland in the celebrations as possible (although the Joulusauna may have to wait until a visit home...)

All I want for Christmas is…

To spend time with my family. And lots of chocolate.

How will you be celebrating Christmas this year?

This will be our first Christmas in the UK so we will try combine the best parts from the Finnish and British Christmas traditions. The celebrations start in Finland on the 24th, so we will eat Finnish Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve. Plus, Santa Claus arrives in the evening (from Lapland, obviously!).

Your favourite Christmas tradition?

Joulusauna. A Finnish tradition where we go to a sauna early on Christmas morning.

Favourite festive film or song?

Love Actually. I know it's cheesy but I love it.

Best place to enjoy the Christmas atmosphere?

Anywhere where there is snow outside and a lit fire with lots of candlelight inside.
