Afternoon Tea with Dame Glenda Bailey

The Tuesday of Walpole's third-annual US Trade Mission saw our delegation visit Hearst Tower for a quintessential afternoon tea and roundtable discussion with Dame Glenda Bailey, editor-in-chief of Harper's Bazaar, where she was presented with a gorgeous Johnstons of Elgin oversized Opera Coat by the brand's Creative Director Alan Scott.

During the tea, Glenda discussed her vision for the title, offering insights into the readership and the evolving media landscape, while guests - comprised of the British luxury brands joining Walpole on the US trip - shared their new. We were also joined by Glenda’s senior editorial team including Executive Fashion Director – Nicole Fritton, Accessories Director – Amanda Alagem, Deputy Fashion News Editor – Alison Cohn, and Fashion & Accessories Editor – Jaclyn Cohen.
